“The arts empower. The arts give a voice to the voiceless. The arts transform American communities and the result can be a better child, a better town, a better nation and certainly a better world.”
– Robert L. Lynch, President, Americans for the Arts
We are committed to creating a sense of self-empowerment in children experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty through the use of art therapy-based programming.
Whether you live in the United States or abroad, you can help!
*Drawchange honors the youth and uses the term child. We do not agree with the social term, “kid” and believe in empowering those younger than us first and foremost, through our terminology.

Join our Board of Directors
Community leadership begins with a call for action. That is why we seek individuals to help lead our cause as a part of our Board of Directors. We understand that to drive change, our team must represent our community values. We seek leaders guided by professional experience and social courage.
Our Board provides direction, oversight, and advice directly to our CEO. Their influence helps define the future of the organization. It is a governance board, not an operational one. This means Board members are advocates, benefactors, and thought leaders, while the CEO and staff carry out the day-to-day operations. To apply for this opportunity, click below.
Board Term: 2 years
Meetings: Quarterly meetings (online + in person)
Time Commitment: 2 hour p/wk
