Art Beyond Borders-Costa Rica Trip : July 9 – July 17, 2013

WHAT IS THE TRIP ABOUT?

Drawchange has a six-year commitment to Fatima School in Cartago Costa Rica. 2013 will be our 4th year traveling as an organization to bring love and hope to the Diques community of Cartago, Costa Rica. We travel and live as a volunteer family while serving the school daily. Our accommodations are in a beautiful, yet simple bed and breakfast that overlooks the valley of Cartago. Wake up with us to watch the fog rolling over the mountains and know you are helping make a dent in world-change. It is the perfect backdrop to a beautiful, selfless experience that awaits you. It will be one of the most fulfilling experiences you can imagine-hands down!

COST AND FUNDRAISING
The trip is currently closed. If you would like to help us achieve our mission, please see number five below for ways to still be as important to the trip as those of us that are traveling.
July 9-17, 2013
$1400-includes accommodations, airfare, most meals, ground transportation, a fun day, trip t-shirt, tips, and taxes (Repeat team members receive a $100 discount.)
All participants are encouraged to fund raise for their trip fee. While the volunteer team will together hold a fundraiser(s), we will set you up on a fundraising portal where you may interact with your donors and track your progress.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO GO
Participants will be chosen from information provided on application forms, based on skill set needed and group demographics needed for work teams.
*Under 21 years of age must be accompanied by guardian.
We are already accepting applications for our July 2013 trip. Please click here to fill out an online application. Application fee is $50.00. Credit and background checks will be given. Application deadline is March 31, 2013. After March 31, application fee is $75.00.
